Classic bar, food tastes good, delivery wasn't the fastest

Delicious food and good cocktails. As vegetarians, we unfortunately had to limit ourselves to starters.

We went to this restaurant on Monday and it was a disaster. We were asked by a waiter whether we would prefer to sit downstairs or on the upper floor. There was almost nothing going on upstairs (and downstairs people really sat very close together). We said we'd rather sit upstairs. Then the waiter asked: "Because of Corona, or what?". I then said: "Yes, partly because of Corona." He then snapped at me in an unfriendly manner, saying that Corona doesn't even exist and that this is all nonsense. Everyone can have their own opinion about Corona, but you really can't say something like that to your guests. The food wasn't particularly good, the gyros was so greasy that I felt sick afterwards. We looked in vain for the garlic on the garlic potatoes and the salad didn't taste like anything. All in all a very poor performance for the money we left there. I wouldn't eat there anymore, there are so much nicer and better restaurants in Bad Kissingen.

Very negative. Unfortunately, I called today to see if takeout would be possible. I get an outrageous answer that the waiter doesn't have time to discuss with me, he has a lot to do and I should just come, order and probably wait 1 hour for food. What I don't see when you can order on the phone and burn it in about 1 hour, which I wouldn't have been an issue with. Then he pulls the trigger and says “we don't deliver, I don't have time”, although I asked very nicely if I can order take-away. On the second call, after hearing my name again, he pushed me away. Really outrageous! If you are full and don't have time, then don't answer the phone :) So from my own experience after 20 years of experience in the restaurant business That's when you lose really nice, understanding regulars

The food was very good. We'd love to come back.

Unfortunately, absolutely not to be recommended from our side. One does not adhere to the Corona Ordinance Bavaria. First we were asked to one side while the last free table was given to a couple who had not made a reservation either. and then, when we sat down inside, they pointed out the face mask that we would have to wear when going to the toilet and when leaving. I replied that we were exempt (medical exemptions also apply in Bavaria) and that I did not have to comply. Then in a snappy tone and with a plastic mask (which was not there, which of course does not work if you want to breathe - is that permissible ???), he has had a certificate since. how naughty are you? we left the bar immediately because we were kicked out !!! I have cancer and a disabled person's pass (so I can prove it). After my wife contacted us, we were promised clarification - after 7 days still nothing came. Thank you - never ever.

Very nice restaurant ... nice hospitality, with high-quality food, the cooking is with fresh herbs ... a pleasure in terms of taste 😉 and finally a delicious cocktail at the bar ... we are guests on every visit to Kissingen ... only recommended 🤗

Great people, attentive staff, good food

One of the few bars open late. Good local beer and suggestions.

Food very good. Only with the garlic potatoes the garlic was missing 😋

At the beginning we got dirty glasses and from then on, the young waitress didn't say another word. When she cleared our plates, she didn't ask us if everything was okay. The only thing that is good is the food. Really good.

very tasty, very attentive and communicative owner, nice and cozy. Despite the rain, we sat outside under an awning, the seats outside were heated by spotlights, it was great!

Food was excellent. The best grape leaves we have ever enjoyed and the homemade for sure! Service also very friendly ... did not expect such a good experience! Total recommendation for the sleepy Bad Kissingen :)

I waited a while (25 minutes to take away) but really good and above all all fresh. The dishes I saw go to the big table. The service leaves something to be desired. They are not very polite x the rest all ok

I've eaten here several times, tasty food, good drinks, friendly staff, clean restaurant. It's not very large, but in the warmer/drier times you do have the option to sit outside. Happy atmosphere.

Good food, drinks and service!

Delicious food, good service in a pleasant atmosphere. There are covered places outside. Cocktails are also offered. Wednesday evening is girls evening i.e. 1 drink + 1 dish from a selected card at a fixed price. Make sure to reserve in the evening

Wonderful cuisine and the place to be in town! Try the gyros! Great cocktails!
